I was fortunate to have the opportunity to shoot the VHSL State Championship basketball tournaments at the Siegel Center this past week. As familiar of an arena as that is for me, having shot VCU basketball since I was a freshman there, it was odd covering other teams on the Ram’s home court while they were in Brooklyn en route to the school’s first A10 Championship. One big difference between the NCAA and high school hoops, the pace and flow is completely different due to there being no shot clock. Something I had forgotten before I sat on the baseline for my first game.
