Growing up, I played a lot of sports. As a kid it was football and baseball, as I got older it became lacrosse. When I wasn’t shooting a ball I was shooting a roll of film. In high school I began photographing the players and teams for school assignments and local stories. Ultimately, I realized that I was better at covering the athletes than being one. Photography allows me to still immerse myself in the world of sports, and has taken me beyond that. My unique vision and creative style can be seen in my commercial and editorial images as well. I graduated from the School of the Arts at Virginia Commonwealth University where I received my BFA in Photography and Film, am an FAA part 107 certified drone pilot, and currently live and work in the Richmond, Virginia area.
