Last week I travelled to Darlington, South Carolina to shoot the Bojangles Southern 500 for Harrelson Photography. Shifting back to its original Labor Day weekend slot, the Crown Jewel was brimming with throwback paint schemes and homages to the sport’s past. It was a very neat and nostalgic race to be a part of, including the nod to Days of Thunder, which was one of my favorite movies growing up. Top it off with a concert by Grand Funk Railroad- it was a great weekend.
